OnePlus 7 Pro Leaks With Dual-Edge Display, Triple Camera And Special 5G Variant

OnePlus is expected to refresh its flagship device this year and rumours around the upcoming OnePlus 7 are coming in rather frequently. We have multiple leaked cases confirming that the handset will have a full-screen display, triple camera at the back and a pop-up selfie camera. A new leak now suggests that there might be more than one variant of the handset.

According to popular tipster, Ishan Agarwal OnePlus could be working on three variants of the OnePlus 7. These will include the OnePlus 7 itself, the OnePlus 7 Pro, and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. Recently the OnePlus 7 Pro was also spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification website. According to Agarwal, the model numbers for the three variants are GM1901, GM1903, and GM1905 for the OnePlus 7, GM1911, GM1913, GM1915, and GM1917 for the OnePlus 7 Pro, and GM1920 for the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

A post on Weibo shows a glimpse of the alleged device sporting a dual-edged display, similar to the bunch of Samsung Galaxy flagship devices. The display is notch and hole(s) free just like the leaked OnePlus 7 renders, which means this one will also come with a pop-up selfie camera. There is no photo of the back, so we can’t confirm what kind of primary camera setup it will have. There is however an ‘About Phone’ screen of the alleged OnePlus 7 Pro revealing that the handset will feature a 6.67-inch Super Optic display, a Snapdragon 855 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a triple rear camera setup – with a 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor. We can’t vouch for the leaked information, but if we are to believe them, then it will be the first time OnePlus will launch multiple variants of its flagship phone.

With the launch of Galaxy Fold, Samsung will be making a debut in the market of foldable phones. While the initial launch, scheduled on April 26 in the United States, was delayed due to issues with the phone’s flexible display and hinge design, the revised phones will be hitting the markets after much improvement.

However, after the needed update, the smartphone-tablet-hybrid is “ready for launch,” as reported by Korean news outlet The Elec on Wednesday, quoting an anonymous industry source. The source also revealed that Samsung is determined to beat Huawei’s Mate X to market, which CNBC reported would be released in September.

While Samsung has not confirmed any possible dates for the relaunch, it is expected that the Korean mobile company may set the launch date in late July or August to beat its competitor to the punch. The company may come up with an announcement about the Galaxy Fold on August 7 during the Galaxy Note 10 event.

According to the reports, Samsung has tweaked the design of the hinge and screen of the Galaxy fold to make sure it does not face the same issues again that it faced in April. Samsung also confirmed recently that the Galaxy Fold will not be manufactured in India, but will be hitting the Indian markets for sale.

Talking about the phone’s features, the Galaxy Fold features a 7.3-inch primary flexible AMOLED display and a secondary 4.6-inch screen on the outside of the phone. It is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset equipped with a 5G modem.

Google Pixel 4 & Pixel 4 XL Specifications Leaked; Could Run The Qualcomm Snapdrago

The Google Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL are on the way, and the inevitable specification leaks have already started. Take these with a pinch of salt though because the launch is still a few months away. But what we now know is that these phones will retain the same size and form factor as before, but will get better displays, a newer design and of course, more powerful innards.Image result for Google Pixel 4

The Pixel 4 will benefit from a 2280 x 1080p display while the Pixel 4 XL will feature a 3040 x 1440p panel, according to the leaks reported by BGR. This is more than the displays in the current-generation Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, which is 2160 x 1080p and 2960 x 1440p OLEDs respectively. The new leaks further suggest that the Pixel 4 series will feature 6GB of RAM as standard, while Google is reportedly planning to double the entry-spec internal storage to 128GB. Furthermore, there will also be a new processor, which could either be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 or the Snapdragon 855 Plus. In all probability, performance should be on par with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 series.

The leak further hints at two upgraded selfie cameras, an ambient light sensor for a True Tone Display-like feature, and new Project Soli radar for gesture detection. Apart from these, both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature large, square-shaped camera modules on the rear that’ll house three sensors and an LED flash. There is supposed to be an upgraded primary camera and a new 16-megapixel sensor that’s fitted with a telephoto zoom lens as well. There could be a third ‘spectral sensor’ as well.

While the remaining Pixel 4 features and specs are yet to be confirmed but, but with three months still left to go for the launch date, we could expect some more leaks along the way. Notably, Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are expected to launch in mid-October with a possible retail price of $899 and $999 respectively.
